New Music: 'Lemme See feat. Rick Ross' (Usher)

Usher just dropped 'Scream' a few days ago, now comes the Rick Ross featured 'Lemme See'. To be honest, I'm not feeling it as much as 'Climax' or 'Scream', but you can't deny that Usher is pushing out some hits. Go on, Usher.

BTS: 'Goldie' (A$AP Rocky)

I stress all the time...all the time, how dope this dude is and how much I appreciate him. Watch as the PMF gets the video for 'Goldie' done in Paris, looking dope AF.

New Video: 'Blueberry (Pills & Cocaine) feat. Danny Brown' (Darq E Freaker)

I don't understand a word of this song...sigh.

New Video: 'Where Have You Been' (Rihanna)

After all of the behind the scenes clips and hype, Rihanna finally releases the visual for 'Where Have You Been', and it's definitely worth the watch. The song is a dance track and the video fits the true nature of the song, having Rihanna dance around in a desert, in a hut, in a smoke filled room...argh, you get the point.

BTS: 'Where Have You Been: On the Set' (Rihanna)

As the premiere of 'WHYB' draws near, Rihanna gave us a sneak peek  and now another behind the scenes video, this time it's filmed on set.

New Video: 'Starships' (Nicki Minaj)

Nicki Minaj flew to Hawaii to shoot the visual for 'Starships', honestly, I'm a bit disturbed by it. Watch as the HB dons a green wig and a pink bikini then proceeds to dance as muscular men get splashed with paint, do a traditional dance and climb mountains...quite disturbing. What's your verdict on the video?

New Music: 'Blue Jeans (Smims & Belle RMX)' (Lana Del Rey x Azealia Banks)

Smims & Belle whipped up this nifty remix. LANADELBANKS.

Video: WHYB Sneak Peek

Rihanna just can't wait for us to see her newest video 'Where Have You Been", tweeting:

The clip shows Rih posing and rising seductively out of a pool of water, can't wait!

Brandy is back...that's all I have to say...Two Eleven drops in June

New Music: 'Out of My Mind (Feat. Nicki Minaj)" (B.o.B)

Welp! Looks like 'Strange Clouds' sprung a leak a week earlier than the release date, which isn't so bad, I guess. 'Out of My Mind' features Nicki Minaj who spits, "You gon' really need a wish right now when my goons come through and start shooting' stars". I like it, and this is coming from a person that really isn't much of a B.o.B fan. Strange Clouds drops May 1st.

New Music: 'Scream' (Usher)

To be honest, I didn't expect Usher to make more music that could complete with the greatness that is 'Climax'...I was wrong. 'Scream' is an upbeat, party track that you can expect to hear in the club this summer(which we love!). Keep it comin', Usher.

New Music: 'Celebrate (Feat. Lil' Wayne, Talib Kweli)' (Mack Maine)

"Pop a bottle and celebrate, we made it to a new day"

Beyonce Named People's 2012 World's Most Beautiful Woman

"At 30, PEOPLE's 2012 World's Most Beautiful Woman has many accomplishments on her résumé, including being a 16-time Grammy winner, an actress and a style and beauty icon. But none is more important than her newest role: playing mom to daughter Blue Ivy, whom she and husband of four years, Jay-Z, welcomed in January. "I feel more beautiful than I've ever felt because I've given birth," she says. "I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a sense of purpose on this earth."
During an episode of the Today Show(April 25th), People magazine revealed who would be their 2012 World's Most Beautiful Woman, Beyonce Knowles. Check out behind the scenes video and the revealing after the jump.

Video: "Princess of China (Feat. Rihanna)" (Coldplay)

I'll tell you why I'm not exactly sure what this video is...At a recent concert, Coldplay used this video as a backdrop to their performance of Princess of China, which features Rihanna. Now, there's the HQ version, so I'm confused, is there going to be an actual video or just this back drop? Looks like it's just going to be this. Watch as Rihanna transforms into a 'Chinese Durga' and spins in a kimono, above.

Video: 'The Making of Dreamchasers 2(Part 1)'

"Everything I do is based on dreams and revolves around it"

New Music: 'SOPA (Feat. Schoolboy Q)' (Ab-Soul)

Did I ever mention that Ab-Soul is a new favorite of mine? Well, if I didn't before, now you know. Soul takes a different approach on 'SOPA', opting to have more fun, and is joined by fellow Black Hippy member, Schoolboy Q(again).
"Hoodie on like Trayvon/heard it through the grapevine/ we got extra pills, lean and shrooms/ life for me is just weed and brew"

I'm Back!

Much apologies to my readers, took a short break to get my college classes sorted and to get some other things out of the way. Now that that's done with I'm back for good...well, for now. Let the posts begin.

New Video: 'Black Girls' (Chester French)

Wow...this video is interesting. The guys of Chester French REALLY love black girls, so much that they wrote a song about it, which now has a visual. The video, which is NSFW, starts off with a girl, who's white, mouthing the lyrics of the song. she is later joined by a black girl and the two have a steamy make out session. The video has a deeper meaning, according to the director:

"The video’s purpose is to celebrate female beauty, pointing the attention on same sex/interracial love,” director Francesco Carrozzini said. “We approached it with simplicity, trying to make the images speak for themselves in the arch of the very simple story told.”

I loved Chester French, but I'm a little on the fence about the video, tell us how you feel about the video in the comment section.

Video: Another Clip From Justin Bieber's 'Boyfriend' Video

It seems as if the video for 'Boyfriend' is taking forever to be released in full, we've already posted teasers from the vid, earlier this month, look's like it's coming out soon. In the clip, which aired during NBC's 'The Voice, Justin whispers the lyrics into a girl's ear, hits the falsetto and gets engulfed in a pool of women's hands. Swaggy.

There's no question that M.I.A.'s newest single 'Bad Girls' is dope, especially with the addition of the official video. I guess Bussa Buss didn't think it was hot enough and hopped on it. What do you think of the remix? Necessary or not?

Magazine: Waka Flocka Covers Spin

Waka Flocka gets a bit crazy on the May/June 2012 cover of Spin Magazine.
"The 25-year-old Atlanta rapper is the couldn't-be-more-perfect face of our first-ever Loud Issue, dedicated to all things enjoyably and compellingly disruptive. Not just because of his blaring dreadlocks or booming sonics or growled hooks, but — as writer Julianne Escobedo Shepherd discovers during a whirlwind international adventure — he's a character at a moment when that quality seems at a premium."
Watch as Flocka takes over the offices of Spin after the jump.

BTS: "HYFR" (Drake)

Some people tend to forget that Drake is Jewish, and may have took offense to his video for 'HYFR'. In the behind the scenes vid, Drake explains the purpose of the video:

"I'm a proud, young, Jewish boy, so when I had a Bar Mitzvah, back in the day, my mom really didn't have that much money, we kinda like did it in the basement of an Italian restaurant. I told myself that if I ever got rich, I'd throw myself a re-Bar Mitzvah."

Video: Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg Bring Tupac Back

First Half
We were told to expect the unexpected when it was time for Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg hit the stage on Sunday at Coachella, but we got more than we bargained for. Dre and Snoop opened up the show with their hits 'The Next Episode', 'Kush', 'Gin and Juice', 'Deep Cover', 'Nuthin But A G Thang' and brought out Kurupt and Warren G for a tribute to the late Nate Dogg to 'Ain't No Fun(If the homies Can't Have None). Snoop went on to perform 'I Wanna Rock Right Now', 'Drop It Like It's Hot' and brought out Wiz Khalifa to perform their hit song 'Young, Wild and Free'.

Second Half

Now this is where things get weird...Now Kendrick Lamar comes out to perform the new track with Dre 'The Recipe', 50 Cent comes out to perform some hits, then the set gets dark and eerie and...an incredibly, realistic hologram of the late Tupac pops up onto the stage, and performs 'Hail Mary' and '2 of Americaz Most Wanted'. Lemme tell you that I'll have nightmares about this for MONTHS! After that creepy occurrence, Eminem came out, performed, and they closed out the show with 'Still D.R.E'.

Spotlight: 'Cuttaz On The Floor' (Jo Boy & Buddah B. Mab'n)

To start off this post, we must, absolutely must, define the word 'cutta'.
In the Bahamas, Cutta is used to label any side-woman or sweetheart a Bahamian man may have. Cuttas are used for one thing, casual sex, which is called cuttin. There is no love involved, eye contact is strictly prohibited and afterwords the cutta must find her way home. Cuttas may be obtained by setting a trap, using a thigh snack from the popular Bahamian restaurant, Bamboo Shack & a $5 phone card. Optional ways to drive a cutta is to be in possession of a honda or maxima.
Now that that's out of the way, I already told you guys that in the Spotlight series, I'm going to drop some new artists that I like but you may not have necessarily heard of, I already gave you B.A.S.S., now I give you Jo Boy & Buddah B. Mab'n, who are also Bahamian. The duo raps their appreciation for 'cuttas' over  the instrumental for Big K.R.I.T's 'Money On the Floor', it's an hilarious, yet dope, track. Listen below.

New Video: 'Ring Ring' (Rick Ross Feat. Future)

Video: Azealia Banks Fxcks Up The Fun at Coachella

Azealia Banks performed at her first, big U.S. gig, Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, on Saturday (April 14). The outspoken, Harlem rapper took to the stage in a mermaid wig and a striped number, spitting out some favourites, such as, 'Bambi', 'Barbie Shxt', 'Runnin' and of course '212'. Banks was so overwhelmed that she cried during her whole set, which was cut short 20 minutes early, due to a goof by her DJ, which didn't matter to a lot of fans, who thought she killed it. Check her set in it's entirety, after the jump.

Kanye West Changes 'Theraflu' Song Title to 'Way Too Cold'

Kanye released his controversial record 'Theraflu' last week and it's been getting tons of buzz. following its release. It's a hit for most, but the people at Theraflu were not having their product name associated with the song, releasing this statement:

“We in no way endorse or approve of the references or use of the image and likeness of Theraflu in this manner”.
Although Theraflu didn't take any legal action, Kanye thought ahead, changing the name of the song to 'Way Too Cold' and removing the miniature bottle of Theraflu, featured in the song's artwork, replacing it with a white outline. You can listen to the song and peep the original artwork here.
